Nice picture! I am a naval architect from Manila. I also do a lot of sailing on dinghies and bigboats. I've always seen crude drawings of vinta's having rigs similar to galleons. This picture proves all of them wrong. As I suspected, the vinta has a gaff sprit configuration. Makes good sense. Thanks for sharing this pic. More please? :)
