The Va'a Motu is coming along quickly. I have a basic hull shell after 24 hours of labor. Fijian Kauri stringers, 1/4" (6mm) Gaboon ply (nice and light) and epoxy glue.
Yeah, Gary! Give it to us!!! Show us how it is done. It is just great to see something like a nice canoe, a boat, evolving from thought, to paper, to model, and finally to the real thing. I love that. And when somethink beautiful like your canoes comes out,... even the better. Thanks, Peter
Excellent, cant wait to see more!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Gary. Can't wait to see it on the water. Which, at this rate, should be by Friday!
ReplyDeleteNice! 24 hours? that's about what it took me to fab a couple of bulkheads. Amazing.
