Ghana Wa'apa

 
Christopher Collins has built and is sailing his Wa'apa in Ghana, West Africa.  The ama is inflatable and most of the spars are bamboo.

    GREAT use of bamboo, love the clear everywhere , and the schooner rig used to simplify the shunting proa system looks to me to be the best yet. OK I can't spell but have been sailing and getting more and more fun out of it since 1958. Mostly schooners, sloops, canoes ect.

    I went sailing in Croatia last year and it was the greatest experience. That was my first time sailing and I loved it!
