I wondered about stretching the T2. Sounds like it was a success for Desperado. Couldn't find specifics on his blog. Do you know how long the T2 can be lengthened?
He lengthened it from 5.4M to 6.5M, so about 44 inches. He also said he widened it but I don't know how much. It would be easiest to simply scale up all the hull offsets by 1.2. I know of one that was scaled by 1.5 but I don't have any contact info with them.
This makes him the likely proa and crabclaw rig expert west of Madagascar?

ReplyDeleteI never drew complete plans for Te Wa. Other than the main hull lines, I made up the rest as I went along.
